Sisters in Action

 Mission

Sisters of Charity are compelled by Christ's love to make God known in the world, and we invite all with whom we serve to join us in this mission.

 Sisters of Charity

At Marylawn, we are fortunate to have three sisters who share their time and talents with us.

Sister Kathy Quigley, our Campus Minister, teaches religion and vocal music.

Sister Mary Dwyer recently retired as our Director of Finance.

Sister Joan Digan
our former Latin teacher,
works in the library.

 Sponsorship
  • Sponsorship is a formal relationship between the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth and a particular ministry.  The Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth, through action of its designated leader, exercises its responsibility for the ministry, which, in turn, carries out the Congregation's mission.  The Sponsorship relationship ensures organizational fidelity to mission, values, and Catholic identity.  The Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth compelled by Christ's love to make God known to the world, invites all with whom we serve to share in this mission.

  • To work with and for the poor and underserved
  • To alleviate suffering and to dispel ignorance
  • To promote justice.
